This 3M™ product is a 'Conformable' double-sided adhesive tape. The softer foam structure provides an excellent opportunity for perfect conforming to uneven surfaces, achieving maximum surface contact even with lower pressure. VHB™ Tape RP 16 is a pressure-sensitive, highly conformable double-sided adhesive tape for indoor and outdoor use that bonds well to plastic and painted metal surfaces. Before using VHB™ Tape, it is recommended that all surfaces be cleaned and pre-treated to remove dust and grease in order to increase adhesion. We recommend 3M™ 94 primer or VHB™ cleaning wipes and liquid for this purpose.
